Christmas Party Hair Tips
» Party hair this season is full of texture and volume with a touch of dishevelment, so have a look at some styles you like that will suit your hair and look.
» Texturizing dust and salt sprays will give added texture without weighing the hair down and you could try using a dry shampoo directly after washing and drying your hair for added body.
» Looking effortlessly glamorous and slightly thrown into place can take time, so practice before your big night to avoid the "hedge backwards" look!
Winter Hair Trends
Curl is king this season, fusing punk-inspired texture and colour to create wilful waves, crushed bobs and rebellious ponytails spliced with pretty pastels and eye catching slices of rainbow tones. Great, eye-catching styles for those Christmas and New Year parties!

This month we’re delighted to celebrate our second anniversary. The last two years have flown by and we’re looking forward to an even busier third year. In the past year we’ve introduced new organic products to the range of high quality, natural hair care products we use and stock, welcomed our latest addition to the team, Adria, and this year we’ll be continuing to provide the highest standards of hair care and customer service to our clients.
Summer Styles - Hairstyles for an evening after a day soaking up the rays
The look for summer 2013 is relaxed, effortless glamour, with movement in abundance for mid to long hair and texture for shorter styles. Big 40s-style waves and undone up-dos can be easily achieved with a little forward thinking.
Work a smoothing or styling cream into damp hair in the morning and place in a mid-pony, (remember the placement of your ponytail says a lot about you; high for playfully girlie and low for sweet and chic) twist hair into a bun and secure with grips or pins. Undo your bun at the end of your day and scrunch in a little serum for perfect 40s-style waves. For beach-style waves and more texture, try braiding the pony before placing the hair into the bun. This also gives incredible body and texture when putting hair up into an undone up-do or loose casual chignon.
To flatten frizz and fly-aways, dampen your hands with water and add a drop of hand lotion, then gently pull your hair back into a French twist. Wait 10 minutes; then take your strands down for beautiful, frizz free hair.

Nature knows best, especially when it comes to hair care and colour
This month we contributed to the January issue of popular local magazine Folio, focusing on the how combining a modern, caring approach to hair care with the latest skills and organic technology can achieve stunning, natural looks. In the piece, Glenn referred to the natural, plant-based products that we use, which are ammonia, sulphate and chemical-free and certified organic. Our clients enjoy the peace of mind that they aren't being exposed to harmful chemicals and their treatments are being carried out in a chemical-free environment, while achieving beautiful, natural results.
